Nola F. Cyrus, age 78 of Beckley, completed her journey here on Earth to begin a new life in Heaven on Monday, November 11, 2019 in Sparta, NC. Born on December 26, 1940 in Fayette County, WV, she was the daughter of the late Arthur Gordon Carr and Edith McGuire Carr.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Everette O. Cyrus; one son, Kevin Cyrus; two brothers; and five sisters.
She is survived by one son, Robert “Bobby” Cyrus and his wife, Celina; two sisters, Margaret Orkis and Sarah Hall; two brothers, Frank Carr and Tommy Carr; daughter-in-law, Teresa Cyrus; three grandchildren, Yuleah Lopez, Amber Cyrus and David Cyrus; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 pm, Wednesday, November 20, 2019 at Blue Ridge Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Tower Garden of Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens.
