Margaret June Rice

Born on June 12, 1939 in Concho, WV she was the daughter to the late George and Virginia Thorne.

Margaret loved her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, loved watching gospel tv shows, listening to gospel music, and she loved spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband of 15 years Robert Rice; son James Kincaid; brothers, Eddie Thorne, Tommy Thorne, Milton Thorne, Johnny Thorne; sisters, Lilly Thorne, Clairie Thorne, Dorothy Thorne, Thelma Thorne, Margie Thorne, Marie Thorne, and Lou Grubb, and 2 infant daughters.

Those left to cherish her memory include her daughters, Vicky Chesbro, and Susan Adkins; son Jeff Kincaid; brothers, Raymond Thorne, Jimmy Thorne, and Leonard Thorne; sister, Francis Rice; grandchildren, Roselee Copenhaver, Holly Vance, Justin Adkins, Skye Plumley, and Lily Chesbro; great-grandchildren, Allison, AJ, Addison, Sawyer, Rhylynn, and Lucy.

A service to celebrate the life of Margaret will be held at Blue Ridge Funeral Home on Thursday, April 28, 2022 at 2PM with Pastor Frank Rice JR officiating.

Visitation for Margaret is scheduled for Thursday, April 28, 2022 at 12PM-2PM at Blue Ridge Funeral Home.

Burial will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens.

In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
