Leah Frances Davis Briggs, 90 years of age, passed away on Sunday, January 13, 2019 at Charleston Area Medical Center, Memorial. Born on December 8, 1928 in Maple Fork, WV, she was the daughter of the late Russell Davis and Mattie Davis.
She is survived by her husband of 67 years, James H. Briggs; son, Dale Catlett and his wife, Rusty; daughter, W. Gay Thomas; three grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; one brother; three sisters; one adopted niece and one adopted nephew.
A burial services will be held on Friday, January 18, 2019 at 11:00 am in the Peace Garden of Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens with Pastor Mike Canterbury officiating.
