Larry J Deweese

Larry J. Deweese 73, of Beckley, WV passed away on October 17, 2017. He is the beloved son of James and Marie Deweese. He was preceded in death by his mother Marie (Darnell) Deweese in 2007 and one brother Michael Deweese in 1995, two brother-in-laws; Alvin Fox in 2017, and Russ Miller 2016. He leaves behind three sisters; Carolyn Fox, Judy Miller, and Joyce (Steve) Cook, one sister-in-law Diane Deweesse, one brother Tommy (Alice) Deweese and a host of loving nieces nephews family and friends all who will miss him dearly. Larry graduated from Stoco High School in 1962 where he was the co-captain of their football team. He enjoyed many other sports as well and was a big fan of the Cincinnati RED’s. He later served in the United States Army from 1965-1967. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, October 21, 2017 at 12:00 pm at Blue Ridge Funeral Home, Beckley, WV. Visitation will be two hours prior to service time at the funeral home. The family would like to give a special “Thank You” to the Beckley VA, Dr. Boyd, and all of the Hospice Nurses on the 4th floor. His staff took such special care of Larry and all of his family.
