JoAnn Taylor Johnson

JoAnn Taylor Johnson, 86, of Stephenson, WV, passed away on Thursday, June 27, 2019 at Harper Mills. Born on December 25, 1932 in Robson, WV, she was the daughter of the late Layte Herbert Taylor and Elvie Lilly Taylor.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Archie Bill Johnson; sister, Lafonda “Tiny” Johnson; and brothers, Carlos Delbert Taylor and Clayton Ray Taylor. She is survived by her sons, Archie H. Johnson of Stephenson, WV and David R. Johnson of Oceana, WV; granddaughter, Renae Hash and husband, Evan of Fairdale, WV; great-grandchildren, Chase Randall Hash, Colton Ray Hash and Carson Reid Hash; nieces, Lafonda Belmont and husband, Todd of Boomer, WV, and Carla Taylor Kincaid and husband, Greg of NC; nephews, Bart Johnson and wife, Teresa of Daniels, WV, Bobby Dale Johnson of MD, and Carlos Taylor, II and wife, Donna of Oak Hill, WV; special sister-in-law, Janet Taylor of Robson, WV; and many more nieces, nephews and friends.

Mrs. Johnson loved to collect antiques and in her earlier years she had a passion for collecting coins.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 am – 12:00 pm, Monday, July 1, 2019 at Blue Ridge Funeral Home. Funeral Services will follow at 12:00 pm in the Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Home with Pastor Greg Kincaid officiating. Burial will be held in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens.
