Joan Elizabeth Hatfield

Joan Elizabeth Hatfield, 77, of Midway, WV, went to be with Lord on August 28, 2017. Born October 12, 1939 in Beckley, WV. She was the daughter of the late Murle Saylor and Irene Lilly. Mrs. Hatfield was of the Christian belief and was very loving and outgoing. After retirement Joan enjoyed spending time gardening, crocheting, quilting and canning. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband and father of her children, Harold Dean Brammer Sr. and her second husband Rondal Hatfield; son Emerson Brammer; daughter, Teresa Lynn Conklin; brother, Murle Saylor Jr. and sisters, Evelyn Meadows and Betty Stewart. Those left to cherish her memory include her son, Harold Dean Brammer Jr. and wife Vickie; daughter, Tammy O’Bryan and husband Barry; sisters, Delorsa Daniel and her late husband Dennis and Alura Ratcliff and husband James; five grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews; her loving dog, Emma; special mention, Emily Price, Nathan Rhodes and Beth Spade of PCH Home Health. Friends may gather with family on Thursday, August 31, 2017 from 12pm to 1pm at Blue Ridge Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at Blue Ridge Funeral Home on August 31, 2017 at 1pm. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, Beckley. Family will serve as pallbearers; honorary pallbearers include, James Ratcliff Sr., Jimmy Ratcliff, Anthony Scammell, Barry O’Bryan, Donnie Price and Dan Williamson.
