Gary Ray Kincaid Sr., 67, of Beaver, left this world peacefully at home on Friday, October 27, 2023. Born October 31, 1955, at Beckley Hospital, he was the son of Reverend Eugene Washington Kincaid and Pauline Frances Maddy Kincaid.
Mr. Kincaid worked several jobs over the years and his last was at Ramey Automotive. His hobbies included collecting and telling jokes. He had a joke for every occasion. He loved to collect, build, and compete with his model cars. His collection surpasses 600. He also enjoyed Nascar races. He played piano and guitar well. He was an entertainer at heart and loved making others laugh. He lit up every single room he was in.
Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Nella Mira Kincaid and three children; Maria (Terry) Bennett, Gary (Cassandra) Kincaid II, and Andrew (Melissa) Kincaid, his eleven grandbabies; Taylor, Natalie, Emily, Bella, Bricen, Olivia, Milo, Jacob, Claire, Jordan, and Myra.
He is preceded in death by his parents Eugene and Pauline Kincaid, a brother Eugene Edward Kincaid, his uncle James Maddy and several others that were near and dear to him.
Just know he loved his family and friends dearly and prayed for them daily. He wanted everyone to know Jesus and to be saved. Several conversations began and ended with, “Better get right with the Lord, before it is too late!” With that being said, in lieu of flowers, read your Bible and get right.
The family wants to give a shout of appreciation to those who love him. His aunt Louise Maddy was always there for him. She loved him tremendously and it shows. His brother, Roger Roark was a call away, thank you both for taking such great care of him.
Services for Gary Ray Kincaid Sr. will be on Thursday, November 2, 2023 at Abraham Holiness Church on Pluto Road. Funeral will be officiated by Reverend Clarence Toney and Reverend Rick Keener. Friends and family are welcome at 12:00, service begins at 1:00. Graveside at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens will follow thereafter.
