Ernest Lee Wright Sr.

Ernie was a member of I Heart Church – Mount Hope, WV. Ernie was known as a jack of all trades, he enjoyed watching westerns, riding motorcycles, driving trucks, and helping others. Ernie often participated in community outreach and was a kind and generous person.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his daughter, Jeanna; brothers, Dale, David, and Chuck; sisters, Virginia, Debra, and Corine.

Those left to cherish his memory include his son, Ernest Lee Wright Jr.; grandchildren, Willow “BB”, Brandon “Pickle Lee”, and Jackelyann; siblings, Alan, Jewel, Danny Lee, Sue, Stevie, and Danny; former spouse of 40 years, Cookie and husband Marty; life partner of 8 years, Cindy Morris and brothers and sister; aunts, Reba, Rachel, and Barb; uncle, Bud; great-nephew, Christopher “Doodlebug”; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held at Blue Ridge Funeral Home on Saturday, July 3, 2021, at 5:00 pm.

Friends may gather with the family from 3:00 pm until service time.

In lieu of flowers donations of sympathy can be sent to a Christian Community Action Program.

The family would like to thank everyone for the care and compassion they have received.
