Dennis Neil Angle, age 49, of Sophia, passed away on Monday, August 19, 2019 at Bowers Hospice House. Born on September 4, 1969 in Beckley, WV he was the son of Janice Richmond Angle (Michael Angle) and the late Dennis Neil Shawver.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Charles N. and Eva Marie Richmond; and his paternal grandparents, Ralph and Delores Shawver.
Dennis is survived by his wife, Tina Doss Angle; his children, Fredrick Corbett, Pauline Corbett, Kaitlynn Angle and Jacob Angle; his grandson, Kody Angle; his brothers and sisters, Angela Reedy, Kevin Angle, Delores Stairs and husband, Sam, and Steven Shawver; many aunts and uncles; and many nieces and nephews.
He loved dirt track racing, RC racing and NASCAR. Dennis worked for Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens for over nine years. He loved and cherished his family and friends.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm, Saturday, August 24, 2019 at Blue Ridge Funeral Home. A celebration of his life will follow at 1:00 pm in the Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Home with Tommy Cox officiating.
