Precious in the sight of The Lord is the death of His saints. Psalms 116:15 . Della “Marie”Pack, 96, of Beckley passed away on October 15, 2017 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice House of Winston Salem, North Carolina. Born on August 13, 1921 to the late Harvey Andrew Daniel and Nancy Elizabeth Atha Daniel. Marie was a loving wife, mother, sister, friend. She was a life long member of Maynor Freewill Baptist Church of Maynor, WV. She enjoyed spending time with her children, flower gardening, when her health allowed, and quilting. She loved playing games with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James D. Pack. Daughter, Judy Kathleen Webb. Infant son, Gary Stevens Pack. Grandson, James R. Pack. Brothers: David Webb, Richard Wood. Sisters: Eldora Matheney,Velma Daniels. Those left to cherish her memories: Sons: James R Pack, wife Barbara.Terry M. Pack, wife Robin. Daughters: Wanda Y. Thomas, Betty M. Dillon, husband Mokey, Brenda K. Pack, Pamala Legg, husband Billy, Sharlene McLain, husband, Fred, Debby A. Haring, husband, David, Also eighteen grandchildren, thirty-five great grandchildren, eighteen great-great grandchildren. In keeping with Marie’s wishes, a private graveside service for immediate family will be on Friday, October 20, 2017 at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens with Rev. Bernard Gunnoe officiating.
