Charles Lively

Born on April 18, 1950 he was the son of the late Joe Eddie Lively and Rhelda Stover Lively.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one brother, Jimmy Dale Lively, and two sisters, Myra Moles and Kathy Martin.

Ponchie leaves behind his wife of 33 years, Cassie Lively, as well as children, Charles Lively Jr. of Maryland, Justin Raynes of Dorothy WV, Amber Raynes (Michael) and Shannin Williams (Tommie) both of Beckley WV. He is also survived by three grandchildren, Cole Williams of Beckley and Kyle and Lydia Lively both of Maryland. Survivors also include two brothers and their wives, Kenneth and Susan Lively of Michigan and Timmy and Susan Lively of Beckley. He is also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends as well as his very special K-9 companions Furby, Stumpy and Blue.

In keeping with his wishes Mr. Lively will be cremated and there will be no services at this time.

Everyone who knew Ponchie knew how much he loved and cared for the numerous stray dogs he took into his home and heart over the years. Therefore, in lieu of flowers or donations, the family would ask that you simply show kindness to one another and to animals. Those wishing to make a monetary donation may do so to their local animal shelter or sponsor a spay or neuter in his memory.
