Betty J. Kidd Betty J. Kidd, 86, beloved mother, grandmother, aunt and friend of Beckley, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, April 6, 2015. Betty was born on March 4, 1929 in Pax, WV to the late Winfield and Veda Pinson Hall. Betty was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Betty loved her children and grandchildren and loved spending time with her family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Buren Kidd and sisters Aleda Hinkle and Ramona Prince. Those left to cherish her memory include; her children Larry Kidd and wife Connie of Myrtle Beach, SC, Beverly Mourad of Beckley, David Kidd of Beckley and Renee Bennett and husband Kenny of Cool Ridge, seven grandchildren, Larry W. Kidd Jr., Buren W. Kidd, Justin Mourad, Matthew and Keeley Kidd, Ashlea Reynolds and Jared Bennett, four great grandchildren, Jesse Kidd, Johnny Kidd, Gage Reynolds and Skyla Kidd, several nieces and nephews and a special pet, Mr. Gray. Services to celebrate the life of Betty will be held 1:00 PM Friday, April 10, 2015 at Blue Ridge Funeral Home, Beckley with Pastor Roger E. Pauley officiating. Following the services Betty will be laid to rest at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Beckley. Friends may gather with the family from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Thursday, April 9, 2015, at Blue Ridge Funeral Home, Beckley.
