Carole Ellen Hughes, 77, of Beaverton, Oregon, passed away Saturday July 31, 2021.
Carole was born to Henry and Margaret Lee in Chico, California, on December 16th, 1943. She was raised alongside her two brothers, Richard (Vickie) and Keith (Misty). During her lifetime, she earned a Master’s degree in speech therapy, met and married James Hughes, and raised two daughters Carrie and Jennifer. Her family continued to grow with the births of her grandchildren Emerson and Elliot Verge and Tucker and Tate Fox.
Carole was predeceased by her father Henry Lee, mother Margaret Lee, and husband James Hughes.
She is survived by her two daughters Carrie Verge (Gregory), Jennifer Fox (Travis), brothers Richard Lee (Vickie) and Keith Lee (Misty) along with her grandchildren Emerson and Elliot Verge and Tucker and Tate Fox.
