Mary Sue Williams, 89, of Beaumont, died Monday, November 8, 2021 at her residence. A native of Stanton, TX., Mary has lived in Beaumont since 1950, and was a retired medical technologist after many faithful years of service with Hotel Dieu Hospital and Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont.
Mary was a faithful member of her church St. Marks Episcopal Church in Beaumont, and a avid member of the elder groups of the church. Mary enjoyed playing softball with her co-workers from the hospital, playing cards, dominoes, watching Lamar Women's Basketball, she always enjoyed meeting new people, and being with all of her family. Mary was a proud member of the Local Scottish Society.
A Celebration of Mary's Life will be held at 6:00p.m. on Monday, November 15, 2021 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home with cremation to follow the service.
A Gathering of Family and Friends will begin at 5:00 p.m. till service time on Monday, November 15, 2021 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home in Beaumont.
Mary was preceded in death by her loving husband Carroll C. Williams, son, Gerald L. Williams, and her grandson, Gary Yazzie, brothers, Wayne Moffett, and Milton Moffett.
Mary is survived by her daughters, Patricia "Patty" Pittman and her husband Jim, and Jeannette Brown all of Beaumont, also her daughter-in-law Josie Williams and her grandson, Obie Williams both of Richmond, Texas.
