Funeral services for Martin Padilla, Jr will be held Saturday, November 12, 2016 at 2:00p.m. in the Chapel of Forest Lawn Funeral Home with burial following in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be held Friday, November 11, 2016 from 6:00p.m. to 8:00p.m. at Forest Lawn Funeral Home. He was born February 3, 1939 in Beaumont, Texas to Martin Padilla, Sr and Guadalupe Medina and passed away November 3, 2016 in Beaumont, Texas. Martin loved fishing, crabbing and traveling and was a member of St. Anne’s Catholic Church of Beaumont. Martin is preceded in death by his parents; his loving wife Deborah Mosley Padilla; brothers, Paul Padilla, Don Padilla, Frank Padilla and Henry Padilla and brother-in-law, Don Delafuente. Martin is survived by his loving daughter, Andrea Padilla and husband Blake Calhoun; his special friend of 19 years, Deborah Broussard; brothers, Manuel Padilla and wife Frances, Anthony “Tony” Padilla and wife Rose and Richard Padilla and wife Amelia; sisters, Jessie Medina and husband Richard and Lucy Delafuente; grandchildren, Odysseus John-Martin Rice, Alice Calhoun and Tyson Griffith-Rice.
