Edna Eileen Self, 86 passed away February 4, 2012 in Beaumont, Texas. She was born in Johnson City, Tennessee on November 26, 1925 to the late James and Cora Nolan. Edna was a homemaker, devoted wife, loving mother and grandmother. Her greatest joy in life was her family and she will truly be missed by all.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Lee Mack Self, son, Bobby Letts and daughter Jan Self
She is survived by two sons, Lee Mack Self Jr. of Vidor; and Gene Self of Beaumont; three daughters, Lee Craig and husband Billy of Lumberton; Kay Williams of Vidor; Ann Deen and husband Clifford of McKinney; sister Madeline Boggan of D’Lo Mississippi; step son, Ronald Self of Vidor; stepdaughter, Anajean Sweat of Vidor; fifteen grandchildren, and seventeen great-grandchildren.
A gathering of friends and family will be held Monday, February 6, 2012 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, Beaumont. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 7, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Forest Lawn Funeral Home with burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
