I can’t say enough about my special friend David gray sr!! Words can’ not express the impact he had on my world life and thoughts  as well as everyone he loved and cared for especially his two grandchildren Daxon and Stevie lorin 
I have so so many hilarious stories about David but I can’t leave this one out 
He and David Jr had this idea for a homemade silencer for ‘deer hunting ‘ one night on their private property after working for hours David Jr fell asleep in recliner in living room and of course I turned in early to the back bedroom then straight out of a Bug’s bunny cartoon here comes David sr tiptoeing they kitchen just like Elmer Fudd actually telling us to to be very very quite lololol and all the sudden BOOOOM HE GOT A DEER OUTWOF KITCHEN WINDOW!! Poor Jr was literally attached and hanging from his fingernails from the ceiling I was running around like a chicken with my head cut off haha and that’s silly wonderful DG sr was laughing so hard real and true and that’s just one of many great Gray stories from the grayb Institute 
 There is a Nother one when I was hungry for gumbo and he went outside for a little while came back in with a wild turkey he had killed out of his property and made gumbo I am a gumbo love her and David Senior was such an excellent cook he managed to teach my sister Missie Landry how to make one of the best roast ever but that turkey gumbo was something else that’s just how I’m going to put it it was something else but that man will be truly missed  Buy all that were fortunate enough to know and love him we had many many great times together our gardens were so much fun to work and share and I will keep his love memories and many funny stories alive in my spirit soul and heart always he leaves behind his children and grandchildren Who he more than loved he treasured I’m lucky to have him as a part of my life and I will always have him in my heart and soul we are all better people and lucky to have him in our lives I can’t say good

David gray was so very special to many people 
He loved his children and his grand babies daxtonband Stevie I feel honored to be a part of his love and most of all his silliness 
He was always there for me no matter how big or small 
The gray institute was one of my most favorite places and I feel so lucky and blessed to be a part of theirewonderful loving crazy families 
I know now I have a special gaiardian looking and taking care of me from heaven 
No one will ever take his place in my heart and I will for ever keep his memories alive in spirit my heart and soul I love you David gray sr  and will do my best to honor your memories 

I consider myself so very lucky to know and be a part of the gray family and most of all THE GRAY    Institution or what we lovingly and laughingly called David’s home and land
Too many fond memories to list everything but I will never forget the time he shot a deer through his kitchen window which I’m sure David Jr will never forget!! David sr lived for his children and was blessed with a beautiful grandson and gorgeous granddaughter and they will carry his memories with them forever 
David was always there lending a hand to any and everyone who needed him 
You were not allowed to mope around or be unhappy if he could help it 
He could take the worst of things and have you laughing in an instant 
A simple trip to Walmart or auto parts store and leave laughing 
I am truly honored to have been a part of his life and home as I was for a number of years I only wish it could have been longer but I treasure the time I did get with him 
He used to say we were cut from the same cloth because our parents grew up and went to school together but unlike David I AM NOT SCARED OF ROACHES or   La cocha rochas as he called them 
David Sr was always there for me no matter how big or small 
I shared the best laughs with him more than anyone else ever and his love laugh and memories will forever be in my heart spirit and soul 
I know now I have a special gaurdian watching over me now
Well unless there’s a   La Cucaracha around me 
I love you David
