Chester grew up with a terrible example of how to be a father, but overcame that to be an excellent parent to his two children. He was generous, caring, had no vices, and may as well have been the inspiration for the phrase “never met a stranger.” He was happiest fishing, hunting, traveling, or changing TV channels until he found a black & white Western.
Chester was preceded in death by his mother, Etta Lee Lewis. He is survived by his wife of 59 years Annette Guidry, his daughter Karen Marie, his son Jesse Remick (Michelle Bourgeois), his grandson Joseph James, and his sisters Linda Monic & Alice-Faye Moore.
