So sorry for your loss.  I enjoyed the years working with Carola while I was City Manager in Rosenberg.  I appreciated her professionalism--- and of course, I always checked with her before going out to eat at lunch!  I had forgotten that we shared a Golden Triangle connection; her being from Beaumont and my having a work tour in Orange.  You and your family are in the thoughts and prayers of many.

I worked with Carola at the City of Rosenberg Permit Department in 2007.  I am so sorry for your loss.

Mr. Rex, My condolences to you and your family. This is Bob Alanis from Bob's Taco Station in Rosenberg. I would  like to express how wonderful it was working with Carola. She was literally the first person we meet upon arriving to Rosenberg and opening our business 26 years ago. Every time I reminiscence about our business, I think of Carola the Health Inspector. She guided us thru the process and helped us along to improve our business and directed us to the proper channels working with the City departments. Aside from her job with the City, she was a friend. She would from time to time stop by and have some coffee and just have some laughs with myself and my folks. What a beautiful picture you selected!  I never remember seeing Carola Jo without a smile on her face.  She was a part of the greatest class ever.....SPHS '64.  So, so sorry for this loss.  May God continue to bless you as you journey this road.
