Bobbie Jean Latta

Bobbie Jean Latta, 86, a lifelong resident of Beaumont passed away on Tuesday March 28, 2017. She was born in Beaumont, Texas on Monday October 6, 1930 to her parents Charles Donald Brockman and Ruth Louise Taylor Brockman who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her husband Buck Latta, brother, C.D. Brockman, sister, Emma Hamm, and one grandson Brockman Latta. Bobbie was a homemaker who enjoyed birdwatching, crocheting, creating recipes, watching TV gameshows, cooking, taking care of family, and, like to attend all of the kid’s activities.

She is survived by her three sons, Gordon Latta and wife Shelli, Harvey Latta and wife LaDonna, Curtis Latta and wife Amy, daughter Donna Martel and husband Michael all of Beaumont. Also surviving are six grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held on Thursday March 30, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Beaumont under the direction of Forest Lawn Funeral Home.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the following caregivers and the Kindred Hospice Company for their devoted support and making sure to take care of Bobbie’s needs. They are Julie, Kelly, Monique, Tracey the caregivers, and Hailey, Stacey, and Rhonda for the Kindred Hospice Company.
