Archie Anderson Day, 73, of Beaumont, died Saturday, December 19, 2020 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont. A native of Evadale, Archie has lived in Beaumont since 1971, and was a retired truck driver after driving with Central Freight Lines and retiring from AAA Cooper Trucking Company. Archie was a longtime member of St. Anthony's Basilica Catholic Church in Beaumont. Archie proudly served his country in the United States Army. Archie enjoyed fishing, traveling, reading, and music.
A Celebration of Archie's life will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 26, 2020 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home in Beaumont, with burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held from 12:00p.m. until service time on Saturday, December 26, 2020 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home.
Archie was preceded in death by his wife Patricia Day, and his parents, William and Willie Day.
Archie is survived by his daughters, Tina Day and Diane Barboza and her husband Flint all of Beaumont, brother, Teddie Mercer of Tyler, TX., sisters Glenda Scott of Kountze and Joan Ard of Albuquerque, NM., three grandchildren, Julian, Kathryn, and Abby, uncle, Archie Ray Day and his wife Dell of Rogers, TX., aunt, Ruby Dryden of Lufkin, TX., numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins, his best friend Jeryl Clack of Kountze, and his beloved fur baby Sadie Ann.

Archie will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
