Thomas (Tom) Phillip Handran, Jr. of Palm Desert, California passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on July 11, 2024. Tom was born on July 6, 1941 in Gloucester, Massachusetts.
Tom fought the good fight; he lost the battle here on earth, but had the ultimate victory as he went on to meet his Lord and Saviour. He had a servant's heart that led him to serve his country faithfully in the army and raise a family that loves the Lord. He was a father to the fatherless and he impacted many lives, both near and far. He loved anything sports, but was an avid golfer and loved ice hockey and baseball. He was born to the late Thomas Phillip Handran, Sr. and Adeline Martin in Gloucester, Massachusetts. He is survived by his wife, Sharon; his five children: Dee Anna Salinas of WA; Richard Handran (Angela) of Fredericksburg, VA; Bo Handran (Stephanie) of Cathedral City, CA; Arika Chernosky (David) of Denton, TX; Terry Handran (Joyce) of Vancouver, WA and a combination of 24 grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
