Joy Hobbs Emery of Beaumont, CA passed away Tuesday, March 7, 2023. Joy was born May 25, 1934 to George E. and Ruby Ely Hobbs in Lee County, Virginia.
Joy is preceded in death by her parents, George E. and Ruby Ely Hobbs; her husband John F. Emery; sister and brother-in-law Edith Ann and James Sehr and her son Stephen Dean Bailey.
Joy is survived by daughter Susan D Gorgei and son-in-law Frank W. Gorgei Jr; beloved grandson Ryan P. Gorgei; nephew David C. Sehr and his wife Janice M. Sehr and great nephews Gregory P Sehr and Andrew N. Sehr.
