      It’s hard to think we will no longer hear your laughter at our family gatherings, hear your laugh that always stood out, or hear your crazy stories during your teenage years. It still hasn’t settled in, and it might be a while before it actually does, we will miss you always.

    I was maybe 10 years old when I first me you, I was tagged along with Juan and my sister, so I was always at your house, you always made me feel welcomed and I hope you know that I truly appreciate that. I remember watching you make your hand made tortillas and trying them for the first time, with Butter!! They were soooo good and I kept sneaking back to get more, but you never said anything. I remember telling my sister that she had to steal the recipe, and now that tradition will carry on. Thank you for always bringing laughter, being good to us, your kindness, we will miss you, we all love you and I know that you are at peace.

I know you can see and hear us, we will alway love and miss you Molly.

A very loving, caring, strong, hard working woman that dedicated herself to care for her loving family and others.  We know and feel your pain, please know you are not alone.  Tio, even though we are far from you and the kids, Please know  you are in our thoughts and prayers.  We have really good memories of my tia.  We will miss her too.  Los queremos tio mucho mucho.

As I reflect on my grandma, I can happily say she has been by far the best grandma anyone can ask for. I can remember going to her home with our favorite snacks, drinks, and homemade meals. Spending the night, sitting in the front yard till 11 at night chatting about things that not any grandma would talk about.  I remember her infectious laugh, smile, and humor that always altered the atmosphere and moods of everyone’s surrounding. She had a way of making people feel comfortable with her unique, humble, and outgoing personality. Her personality truly lighten every individual that she met. I will miss everything about my grandma. There is no one like her who was so special.  I will wait patiently to be by her side to hear her stories on Laura, and doctor Phil.  And to hear and see her beautiful laugh and smile. I love you Wela! 


Wela...there are no words that can describe the amount of love we had for you. You were the craziest, strongest, and most high spirited person that I know. Out of my 25 years of living I’ve never seen you mad. No matter how crazy we were as kids or even as adults, you still managed to have a smile on your face and just be happy and enjoy the moment. There are so many memories that it’s hard to pick a favorite. From our sleepovers, our late night walks to the little hill near butterfield with our snacks and junk food, to you laughing every time you beat me at aggravation. I’m going to miss walking into the room or even getting a call and hearing “heeeeey dimples”. You were honestly the best grandma that anyone could ever ask for. I’m glad you got to watch me grow up and get married. Thank you for loving me the way that you did and for loving cris as if he was your own grandson. I promise our future children will know everything about you. I promise to tell them about our crazy adventures and all your crazy stories. I know that you will never truly be gone. You will always be with us. I love you so much. More than you will ever know.
