She was born in Baytown, Texas on February 8, 1938, to Bertha and Clemente Cantu Sr. She was married to Edward C. Wagner Jr. of Baytown, Texas for 42 years.
She was a Robert E. Lee Graduate Class of 1956. She had a passion for line dancing, crafting and her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband Edward C. Wagner Jr.; siblings Corina Melendez, Ernestine “Tina” Torres, Ernesto Esparza, Clemente Cantu Jr., Mary Helen Salinas, Richard Cantu, Bernie Cantu, and Evelyn Frost.

She is survived by her daughter Terri McLendon and husband Steve of Mont Belvieu, Texas; grandson Jeffrey Roeder of Mont Belvieu, Texas; Jennifer Strother and husband Nick of La Porte, Teas; Krystal McLendon of Mont Belvieu, Texas; Rex McLendon and wife Megan of Mont Belvieu, Texas; great grandchildren Devyn Strother of La Porte, Texas; Grant, Emilia, and Bowen McLendon of Mont Belvieu, Texas; her sister Mary Cantu Matute of Florida; and sister-in-law Mary Miller.
Service will be held on July 29, 2024, 2 p.m. at Earthman Funeral Home in Baytown, Texas.
