Ronald “Ronnie” Gene Kluch, 81, of Baytown, Texas, passed away on November 7th, 2024. He was born in Houston, Texas on September 29th, 1943 to Henry and Louise Kluch. In 1962, Ronnie married the love of his life, Fredlyn. Ronnie and Fredlyn had two children, Kim and Kyle.
Ronnie is survived by his Wife, Fredlyn Kluch, Daughter, Kim Baker and Son-in-law; Jack Baker; Granddaughters, Taylor Baker Rodriguez and Clayton Baker; Grandson-in-law, Spike Rodriguez; Great-Grandson, Clark Wyman Rodriguez; Sister and Brother-in-law, Betty and Tommy Michalsky; Mother-in-law, Opal Handley; Sister-in-law, JoNell Keller; Brother and Sister-in-law, Bryan and Cathy Handley; Sister-in-law, Marilyn Kluch, as well as numerous nephews, nieces and cousins.
Ronnie was preceded in death by his Mother and Father, Louise and Henry Kluch; Son, Ronald Kyle Kluch; Brother, Harry “Buddy” Kluch; and Father-in-law, Fred C. Handley.
Visitation will be held Saturday, November 23, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Memorial Baptist Church, 600 W Sterling Ave, Baytown, TX 77520, followed by a memorial service which will begin at 2:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers and in remembrance of Coach Ronnie Kluch, the family has created the Legend's Legacy Foundation. This scholarship recognizes outstanding football and baseball players from Ross S. Sterling High School that exemplify grit, determination, talent, sportsmanship, and a love for the game.
