Peggy Davis, 61, of Baytown, loving and caring mom, was born July 29, 1943 in Wichita Falls, TX and passed away Friday, May 6, 2005 at her home. She was a member of the Baptist faith, the V. F. W. Ladies Auxiliary, and was a former President of the Stephen F. Austin P. T. A. She was a longtime cafeteria dietary aide for the Goose Creek School District. She loved to bowl, crochet, fish, and make crafts. She loved her animals and was proud of her ability to make jams, jellies and peanut brittle. She stayed active doing volunteer work and would invite folks over to her home for holiday meals.
Her family will receive friends at Navarre Funeral Home Monday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Graveside services will be Tuesday, May 10, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. at Cedarcrest Cemetery with Ronald Jagnanan officiating.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Davis and son, Steven Orr and is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, David L. and Jan Orr of Port Angeles, WA and Floyd Charles Jr. and Sherry Lyn Orr of Baytown; sister, Lola Boswood of Gaylord, MI; and grandchildren, Payden Orr, Natalie Orr, Candice Orr, and Shanna Orr.
