Melody Ann Chandler, 59, of Highlands, Texas went to be with her Lord and Savior on November 18, 2020. She was born on January 8, 1961 in Coldwater, Michigan to Ted McLatcher and Joyce Foster. She has been Married to Charles Raymond Chandler for 41 years 9 months and 4 days.
She was raised in Florida but spent most of her life in Highlands, Texas with her husband raising her children and grandchildren whom she loved dearly. She was a long-time member of Highlands First Assembly of God church where she enjoyed worshiping and praising our Lord Jesus Christ. She also enjoyed collecting Angels and crosses, reading her bible, playing the tambourine at church, and spending time with her family especially her grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her Mother and Stepfather, Joyce & Bill Foster; Daughter, Sheree Chandler; Mother in Law, Ruby Porter; Best Friends whom she considered Sisters, Sylvia Mendez and Angela Henderson.
She is survived by her Husband, Charles Chandler; Son, Jeremy Chandler and his wife Michele; Daughters, Jennifer Chandler and her Fiancé Raul, Shera Brackett and her Husband David; Father, Ted McLatcher and his wife Reah; Brothers, Rocky, Ronnie, Kevin; Sisters, Brenda, Linda, Debbie, Sandra, Marie; Grandchildren, Alyssa, Braden, Bryce, and Cayson Sousa, Zechariah and Jaylee Gomez, Jaylynn Chandler; and numerous other Family and Friends.
Services have been entrusted to Earthman Baytown Funeral Home. A time of visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday, November 27, 2020 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at Earthman Baytown Funeral Home, 3919 Garth Rd. Baytown, Texas 77521. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, November 28, 2020 at 2:00pm and will be officiated by Pastor Brandon Brewer. Committal Service will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery, 8624 Garth Rd. Baytown, Texas 77521.
