Linda L. Doom

Linda L Doom, age 75, of Baytown, Texas, passed away on May 8, 2024, after a courageous 9-month battle with small cell lung cancer. She was born in Maryville, Tennessee, on July 20, 1948, to the late Robert Roy Mull and Lucille (Parrott) Mull.

Linda was a dedicated accountant and manager of Goings BBQ for 27 years. Additionally, she was the proud owner of Bayway Drive Thru, G&L Pump Service, and Bay Area Industries. Her hard work and entrepreneurial spirit were evident throughout her successful career.

In her leisure time, Linda enjoyed dancing, indulging in horror movies, and cherishing moments with her family and friends. Whether she was dancing the night away, telling it like it is, or lending a helping hand, her presence was always felt.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Lucille & Robert Roy Mull, her husband of 20 years, Glen Allen Doom, and her brothers Marvin Mull and Robert Carol.

She is survived by her loving daughters, Michelle (Mike) Russell, Cynthia (Pete) Kysar, and Natasha (Brice) Blackerby, along with her cherished grandchildren, Brittany (Kyle) Russell-Christenson, Ashleigh Russell, Chanel (Derek) Russell-Hammons, Michaela Russell, Keith (Leslie) Cochran, Breaunna & Connor Blackerby. Linda's legacy also lives on through her great-grandchildren, Kaiden & Brynn Christenson, Gavin, Brantley & Willow Hammons, and Harper Tompkins.

Visitation will be held from 11 am - 12 pm, Tuesday, May 14, 2024, at Navarre Funeral Home, 2444 Rollingbrook Dr., Baytown, Texas 77521, with funeral service to follow and begin at 12 pm.
