Joe I. Rocha was called home to the lord on August 14, 2024 at the age of 69. Joe was born June 28, 1955 in Corpus Christi, Texas. He resided in Crosby, Texas. He worked for Dow Chemical as an operator until his retirement. Shortly after, he reentered the workforce with Everitt Industrial until deciding to fully retire and enjoy his time with his family.
He was proceeded in death by his parents Joe and Teresa Rocha, sister Matilde (Lola) Torres and his daughter Christy Lynn Brooks.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Brenda M. Rocha, son Joe M. Rocha and wife Amber, daughter Raquel B. (Rocha) Bailey and husband Bryan, grandchildren Kaleb Brooks, Landon Rocha, Addison Bailey, Brylea Bailey, Brooklyn Rocha, and Caroline Bailey.
Joe was kind and loving man that never met a stranger. He proudly served his country in the Army National Guard. He had a passion for watching movies and could be found regularly at the theatre. He enjoyed playing cards/games as well as putting together model cars. He loved to travel and visit different areas of the country. In retirement he developed a joy for cooking and having his family try his new dishes. He was always proud of his children and grandchildren and would tell anyone willing to listen of their achievements. He was a man that so many called their friend.
A gathering of family and friends for Jose will be held Wednesday, August 21, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Earthman Baytown Funeral Home, 3919 Garth Road, Baytown, Texas 77521. A celebration of life service will be held Thursday, August 22, 2024 at 10:00 AM, 3919 Garth Road, Baytown, Texas 77521. The committal service will follow at 11:30 AM at Earthman Memory Gardens Cemetery, 8624 Garth Road, Baytown, Texas 77521.
