John is survived by his mother, Julie Powers and her husband Jeff of Houston, TX; his father David Clayton and his wife Anne of La Porte, TX; his sister Christy Steiger and her husband Garrett of Rapid City, SD.
Grandparents Ralph and Karen Elledge of Baytown, TX; and Doris Clayton of Billings, MT; his uncle Chris Elledge and his fiancé Cristine Wood of Houston, TX. He is also survived by very special friends Johnnie Johnson, Jake Joplin, and Ryan Lawrence, all of whom loved John like a brother.
Visitation will be on Friday, December 7, 2018 at Navarre Funeral Home in Baytown, TX from 5:00-7:00 pm. Funeral Services will be Saturday, December 8, 2018, at 1:00 pm, at Westminster United Methodist Church (5801 San Felipe, Houston, TX 77057) with officiants Rev. Nick Scholars, Rev. Roddy Bland, Rev. Suzi Byrd, Rev. Frank Hart, and Rev. Nick Scholars. Reception to follow.
