Edward Fredrick Giering Jr.

Eddie had a career in the Millwright industry primarily with Universal Plant Services and was a member of the Millwright Local 2232. He enjoyed fast cars & trucks, fishing, working hard and teaching new Millwrights, spending time with family & friends and of course his Whiskey and Fireball.

He was preceded in death by his father, Edward F. Giering Sr.; grandfather, Teodore Bilyk; grandmother, Anna (Spiwak) Bilyk; Uncle, Bohdon Bilyk; and Uncle, Ralph King.

He is survived by his mother, Anna Giering; aunt, Maria King; sister, Jamie Lee; wife, Mary Giering; children, Meagan and her husband Jonah, Edward G. III., Scarlett, and Bohdon along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Eddie loved hard and was hard not to love back. He will be cremated by Navarre Funeral Home and we will be holding a memorial service for him soon. Details of the service will be sent out separately. We ask everyone, regardless of level of closeness to him, to help support the family of Eddie by coming to the memorial and share any stories and memories you have so they can be cherished, as well and show Eddie how important he really was.
