Dr. Monte L. Allen passed away Saturday, February 20, 2016. A physician in Salina, Kansas for more than 35 years, he moved to the Baytown area where he served on the medical staffs of Baycoast Medical Center and San Jacinto Methodist Hospital for more than 18 years, respectively.
He is preceded in death by his wife Jan. He is survived by his daughter Kate Allen of Clear Lake, daughter and son-in-law Mark and Michele Navarro, and beloved grandson Brooks Smith of Galveston, Texas.
There will be a family memorial service at St. John's Episcopal Church in LaPorte, Texas.
