Doris (Dott) Ellen Robinson Baker, 81, of Baytown, passed away on March 25, 2021, at home with family and friends. She was born February 20, 1940 in Huntington, Texas, the daughter of Hollis and Ann Robinson. Dott lived in Baytown since 1990. She was a co-owner of B&B Auto Parts in Dayton from 1961 to 1983, lifetime member of Houston Livestock and Rodeo, and the President of American Business Women’s Association. Dott went back to school and received her CPA license (BBA in Accounting, passed the CPA exam 1987). Dott was a loved wife & Mother and Grammy.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 41 years, Troy Donnell Baker, Sr.; and her parents, Hollis and Anne Robinson.
She is survived by her children; son and daughter-in-law Troy D. Baker Jr. and Nancy Baker of Liberty, daughters, Traci and Jon Moore of La Porte, and TamRa and Randy Kemp of Barbers Hill; sister, Shirley Smith of Baytown; grandchildren, Megan Matula, Mollie Walker, Ryan Baker, Jonathan Moore, Joshua Moore, Mason Malaer, and Courtney Kemp; great grandchildren Lane, Avery, Emmalyn, Bailey, Sophie, Aiden & Liam, Kinslee and Madalynn; and nephew, James Work of Houston.
The family will receive friends between the hours of 10:00 am and 12:00 pm for visitation on Tuesday, March 30, 2021 at Navarre Funeral Home, 2444 Rollingbrook Dr., Baytown, TX 77521. A graveside memorial will follow at 1:00 pm in Earthman Memory Gardens Cemetery, Baytown, TX.
