He was preceded in death by his brother, Clay Randall Smith.
He is survived by his father, Noah T. Smith and wife Anita; mother, Helen Smith; wife, Patti Johnson; children, Joshua Smith and wife Mona, Jenny Smith, Brandi Arnold; grandchildren, Jasmine Smith, Haden Cross, Aberie Reeves; sister, Melissa Smith-Buchan and husband Stephen.
His family will receive friends at Navarre Funeral Home Monday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services are scheduled for Tuesday 2:00 p.m. at Navarre Funeral Home, officiated by Ricky Kilgore. Burial will follow at Memory Garden Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers will be Stephen Buchan, Ricky Kilgore, Paul Daniel Kilgore, John Britt, and Dan Mendoza..
