Cecil Howard ""Bud"" Shaw, 80, of Baytown, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 3, 2010. He was born in East Schodack, NY on November 29, 1929 to Milton & Florence Shaw. He attended Averill Park High School. He served his country in the National Guard before being drafted as an Army medic during the Korean War and was awarded numerous medals. He was a diesel mechanic most of his life and later became a master watchmaker. He moved to Baytown in July 1981 and worked at Warren Petroleum as a guard and retired there. Bud was preceded in death by his parents and is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Marilyn Shaw of Baytown; their 10 children, Debbie Shaw of Baytown, Brad & Nancy Shaw of Hadley, NY, Linda Shaw of Saratoga, NY, Terry Shaw & Angele Jackson of Highlands, Kathy Shaw of Tampa, FL, Robin & Richard Rayon of Baytown, Janet Shaw of Watervliet, NY, Ricky Shaw of Baytown, Mark & Meriam Shaw of Baytown and Jeff & Christy Shaw of Mont Belvieu; 15 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; and numerous friends and family members who loved him and will miss him dearly.
His family will receive friends at Navarre Funeral Home Wednesday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be Thursday, January 7, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at Navarre Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held Friday, January 8, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. at Houston National Cemetery.
