An artistic soul, Carolyn expressed her creativity in many ways such as oil-on-canvas painting, interior decorating, and outdoor space and garden design. She also loved reading, journaling recipes, and watching her beloved husband tending their homes' backyard oasis.
Those who knew her best remember her for being passionate, lively, high-spirited, and possessing an infectious enthusiasm for life. She was also sensitive, kind, loving and always welcoming.
Carolyn is survived by her husband, Jerry Warren, and children, Chuck Vinson and spouse Melbie Vinson, Lisa Carol Vinson, Melissa Warren McCollum and spouse Casey McCollum, April Warren; grandchildren, Shanna Rangel, Brandon Vinson, Megan Vinson Jay and spouse Randy Jay, Justin Spears, Lacy Spears, Christopher Dickinson, Joshua Burnett; great grandchildren Tyler Breckenridge, Caelen Kolenut, Aidan Kolenut, and Brayden Dickinson; Siblings Buck Cummings and spouse Fanny Cummings, and Peggy Sloan and many nieces, nephews, and friends who love her dearly. She was predeceased by parents Homer and Nora Cummings, and sister Jeanette Tittle.
A visitation service with the family will be held at 12:00-2:00PM on Tuesday, July 29, 2014 followed by a celebration of life funeral service beginning at 2:00PM at Old River Baptist Church, 12948 FM 1409, Dayton, TX 77535, 1-281-576-6030.
Following the funeral service the family will receive family and friends at the Warren home at 6026 Cajun Way, Baytown, TX 77523. 281-573-4805.
