Abel Mitchell Rossi III, 73, of Baytown, Texas, passed away peacefully on May 15, 2017. Mitchell was born September 21, 1943, in Houston, Texas, to Abel Mitchell Rossi Jr. and Mary Jo Kellam Rossi.
He attended Robert E. Lee High School in Baytown and graduated from Lamar University. He retired from ExxonMobil and loved hunting and fishing, especially with his son, as well as spoiling his Yorkie, Gracie.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his first wife, Peggy Cooper Rossi.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Kovar Rossi; and his son, Mitch Rossi IV, and his wife, Jeri.
The family will receive visitors at First Baptist Church, Baytown, on Friday, May 19th at 10:00 a.m., followed by a funeral service at 11:30am. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
