Born February 11, 1916, Yvonne was the youngest daughter of Leo Mortimer and Rose Harrison Favrot, formerly of Lake Park Drive (now Ninth Street) near current Spanish Town. During the mid-1930s Yvonne earned a BA in Fine Arts at LSU where she studied with painting instructor Conrad Albrizio and participated in painting the Allen Hall fresco murals. She married William DeBenneville Bertolette (dec.) and established a household in Wilmington, Delaware. A memorial service will be held at 11 am on Monday, October 20th in the Theater Room at St. James Place, 333 Lee Drive, Baton Rouge.
