Our beautiful mother has moved into her much deserved heavenly realm. Willie Bellue Doiron passed away early Sunday evening, September 8, 2013 in her bed with family around her. She was 92. A native of Frost, LA, she was a long-time resident of Baton Rouge. Willie was preceded in death by her loving husband, Robert Doiron; and her parents, Lee Judson Bellue and Effie Smiley Bellue. Also preceding her in death were sisters Sibyl Bellue Hatchell and Margaret Bellue Handfield, and brothers Everett Bellue, Hughey Bellue and Stone Bellue. She is survived by a daughter, Julee Doiron, a son, David Doiron, and a beloved sister, Starr Bellue Jeffries, all of Baton Rouge. In addition, she leaves behind numerous loving and cherished nieces and nephews and their families. Her adored Labradoodle will miss his frequent visits with her and her friends at the nursing home. She spent several exciting years as an Exec. Secretary at Ethyl Corp., where she made lasting friends. A charter member of the Broadmoor Baptist Church, she also helped found the Sherwood Baptist Church. Willie loved the Lord and that love shone brightly in all that she did. Willie made a difference in this world by her tireless and selfless devotion to addressing the needs of mentally disabled people in our community. She was the founder of Trianon, the Women's Aux. to the ARC. Through decades of fund-raising, Trianon has enhanced the lives of developmentally disabled people in our area. Willie's tremendous achievements earned her the Volunteer Activist Award in 1976 - a coveted honor. We are so proud of her. She was a lady. She had class and sophistication that is rarely seen in these times. We were better for having her in our lives. Willie Bellue Doiron will be missed by us all. The family would like to thank the staff of Nottingham Rehab Center for their loving care and attention they provided to "Ms. Willie". Pallbearers are nephews: Barry Bellue, Wirt Bellue, Hughey "Buddy" Bellue, Prince Jeffries, Charles Handfield, Russell "Rusty" Bellue, Lee Bellue and Jeffries Morgan. Visitation at Greenoaks Wednesday, September 11 from 5-8pm. Funeral services on Thursday, September 12 at 2pm, with visitation at 1pm. Any charitable donations may be made to Trianon via Tammy Duos / 4915 S. Sherwood Forest Blvd./BR, LA 70816.
