Virginia Coleman Weber, a resident of Baton Rouge, LA, went to be with her Lord on Wednesday morning, January 18, 2023, at the age of 102. She was born in Everett, PA on January 3, 1921, to Charles and Martha Coleman. A longtime Catholic having converted in the 1950’s, she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She loved tending her vegetable garden and helping others. As a young woman, she served her country in the US Navy Reserves as an Ensign, prior to being called to active duty in the WWII Nurses Corps. She went on to become a Registered Nurse, and thoroughly enjoyed watching sports, particularly LSU baseball and football, as well as the Houston Astros. She is survived by her son, Dennis C. Weber and his wife Linda; three grandsons: John William Weber III, Michael Coleman Weber, and Kyle Douglas Weber; five great-grandsons: Thomas, William, Louis, James, and Andrew Weber; as well as numerous nieces and nephews in Pennsylvania. She is preceded in death by her husband, John William Weber, Jr.; her sister, Dorothy Coleman Baker; and her brother, Charles Coleman, Jr. Visitation will be on Tuesday, January 24, 2023, from 10:00 am until Memorial Mass at 11:00 am, at St. Jude Catholic Church, 9150 Highland Rd, Baton Rouge, LA 70810.
