Veronica Leigh Hill

Veronica Leigh Hill a native of Mobile, Alabama and resident of Baton Rouge, passed away on Friday, October 28, 2016 at her residence at the age of 53. She was a graduate of Mississippi State University in 1984 with a B.S. in Chemical Engineering. She was employed with The Dow Chemical Company from 1984 until December 2015. Leigh was a member of Goodwood Blvd Church of Christ, NSPE (National Society of Professional Engineers), Mechanical Engineering Advisory Council at Mississippi State University and a Board Member at Gardere Community Christian School. Leigh was preceded in death by her father, Ronnie Lee Richardson; a sister, Lisa Lipscomb; paternal grandfather, Clyde Richardson and maternal grandparents, Paul and Theresa Dossett. She is survived by her husband, William Oliver Hill; her children, Niki Hopkins (Husband: Greg) (Baton Rouge, LA), Keller Wilson (Husband: Mark) (Huntsville, AL), Caroline Hill (Fiancé: Kalab Holcomb) (Huntsville, AL), Suzannah Hill (Baton Rouge, LA), Olivia Hill (Baton Rouge, LA) and James Hill (Baton Rouge, LA); a granddaughter, Annecy Hopkins; Sister, Suzanne Bocchino Husband: Peter) (Niceville, FL), Brother, Lee Lipscomb (Wife: Erin) (Niceville, FL), Brother, Ronnie Richardson (Jackson, MS), Sister, Jodie Richardson (Bay Springs, MS); grandmother Dorothy Richardson (Austell, GA.). Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation which will be held at Goodwood Blvd. Church of Christ on Tuesday, November 1, 2016 from 2 pm until memorial services begin at 3:30 pm.
