Tommie retired after 33 years as an Operator from Allied Chemical. He loved working on lawnmowers and was often referred to as the Lawnmower Man. He was a faithful member of Lanier Baptist Church. Tommie’s motto in life was “All you gotta do is learn something new every day”.
He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Patricia Scott Browning; 3 grandsons, Heath, Dillon, and Brendan Pecanty; and sister in law, Will Browning.
He is preceded in death by his daughter, Sharon Browning Pecanty; parents James and Carrie Browning; and 3 brothers, Wilton, Richard, and Calvin Browning.
Visiting hours will be observed on Tuesday, December 27, 2016 from 6pm to 8:30pm at Lanier Baptist Church. Visiting hours will resume on Wednesday, December 28, 2016 from 10am until a Funeral Service at 11am.
Interment to follow on the grounds of Greenoaks Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be Heath, Dillon, and Brendan Pecanty, Scott Browning Jr., Jerry Dale Kellum Sr., and Tommy Alford.
