Mr. Thomas "Mike" Dupre

Thomas "Mike" Dupre, 69, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 31, 2010. Visitation at Greenoaks Funeral Home on Thursday, Sept. 2, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a rosary at 7 p.m. Visitation will resume Friday from 9 a.m. until religious services at noon. Burial will be in Greenoaks Memorial Park Cemetery. Mike is survived by his wife of 46 years, Lucille Martin Dupre; daughter and son-in-law, Michelle Dupre Worsham and Scott, of Central; two sons and daughters-in-law, Todd Michael and Nancy Lavoie Dupre, of Virginia Beach, Va., and Kirk Joseph and Tara Sharp Dupre, of Livingston; a brother, John "Bobby" Robert Dupre, of Walker; and eight grandchildren, Elizabeth Dupre, Leslie Dupre, Kristin Worsham, Andrew Worsham, Dustin Dupre, Meghan Sharp, Steven Dupre and David Dupre. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lovelace and Marie Theriot Dupre; sister, Norma Theriot; and three brothers, Lovelace "Sunny" Dupre, Raphael "Sammy" Dupre and Eugene "PeeWee" Dupre. Pallbearers will be Kirk Dupre, Todd Dupre, Andrew Worsham, Scott Worsham, Daivd Elter and Scott Dupre. Mike was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and retired from Dow Chemical after 35 years of service.
