Susan Jenkins Polito, 66, a beloved mother, daughter, grandmother, and great grandmother passed away Wednesday January 29th, 2014 at Our Lady of the Lake Hospital. She retired from IBM and made her home in Livingston, Louisiana. She is survived by her mother, Norma B. Jenkins; three children, Stephanie and her husband Gary Cowell, Kimberly P. Pierson, and Jason Polito; ten grandchildren, Brooke S. Mitchell and her husband Nick, Heather and Brandon Cowell, Christin, Lakin, and Colin Pierson, Ashlynn Carlock, Jax, Jameson, and Jenner Polito; one great-grandchild, Jolie Mitchell; and mother-in-law, Rita Polito. She is preceded in death by her husband, Charlie J. Polito; father, Worthie Jenkins. She was a member of Florida Boulevard Baptist Church. She will be deeply missed by all that knew her. Visitation will be held on Monday February 3, 2014 from 12 p.m. until funeral service at 2 p.m. at Greenoaks Funeral Home. Interment will follow on the grounds of Greenoaks Memorial Park.
