"Doug" Traylor passed away Tuesday, June 21, 2016 at the age of 82, a native of Shreveport LA and a resident of Baton Rouge. He was a US Navy veteran and a retired Postal Supervisor for the US Postal Service. He is survived by daughters and sons-in-law; Melissa T. Chittom and husband Bruce and Lisa T. Key and husband Jimmy, a brother; Huey Traylor and 4 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; James and Cora Traylor, brothers; James "Jim" Traylor and Jerry Traylor, sister; Dorothy Smith and husband Bill, Sister-in-law; Betty Traylor. Visitation will be at Rabenhorst East 11000 Florida Blvd on Thursday, June 23, 2016 beginning at 5:00pm until 8:00pm. Visitation will resume Friday, June 24, 2016 starting at 9:00am until services in funeral home chapel at 11:00am with burial to follow at Roselawn Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be; Bruce Chittom, Tim Chittom, Charles Singleton, Steve Simmons, Jason Traylor and Barry Buchanan. In Lieu of flowers donations to the Wounded Warriors Project, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and the American Heart Association.
