Our mother, Ruby S. Harriman gained her angel wings on February 2, 2019 in Baton Rouge at the age of 90 with her son and daughter by her side.
Ruby was a loving mom, grandmother, great grandmother and aunt. She was loved by all who knew her.
Ruby was born on May 3, 1928 in Mt. Hermon, LA to Murray and Emmie Smith. She was the youngest of six siblings who have all preceded her in death.
She is survived by her daughter, Linda Geautreaux and Kenneth Hawkins, Sr.; son, Wayne Jones and Linda Vickery; five grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 5:00pm to 8:00pm Thursday, February 7, 2019 at Greenoaks Funeral Home-9595 Florida Blvd Baton Rouge, LA 70815. Services will be at 1:00pm Friday, February 8, 2019 at Greenoaks Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Greenoaks Memorial Park- 9595 Florida Blvd Baton Rouge, LA 70815.
