Robert "Bobby" Shedrick Newman Jr. passed away Sunday, Oct. 24, 2010. He was 32, a native of Zachary and a resident of Baker. He is survived by his loving wife of six years, Mitzi Boissenin Newman; daughter, Cassidy Rose Newman; parents, Patricia and Robert Newman Sr.; grandmother, Rosemary Childers; four sisters and brothers-in-law, Tammy and Keith Cash, Jennifer and Brad Broussard, Stacey and Benjamin Brown, and Jessica and Robert Ellisor; brother and sister-in-law, Joshua and Kayla Newman; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Robert O. Childers; paternal grandparents, John Shedrick and Myrtis E. Newman; and nephew, Chandler Ellisor. Pallbearers will be Joshua Newman, Brad Broussard, Keith Cash, Benjamin Brown, Robert Ellisor, and R.D. Boissenin. Visitation at Greenoaks Funeral Home on Wednesday, Oct. 27, from 10 a.m. until religious service at noon, officiated by Pastor Paul Anderson. Burial in Greenoaks Memorial Park.
