Robert Lynn Bennett

On Friday, December 8, 2017, Robert (Bob) Lynn Bennett was called to meet our glorious Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Bob is a native of N. Carrollton, MS, and resident of Baton Rouge, LA. He owned R.L. Bennett Engineer & Surveyor, Inc., for many years. Bob enjoyed his Baptist faith and worshiped at Florida Boulevard Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Jeanice Bennett; 2 daughters, Janice (Steve) and Deborah (Mark); son, Ronald; 6 grandchildren, Drew Ammons, Chris Ammons, Nick Flurry, Chandler Morvant, Brennen Bennett and Brandon Bennett; 2 great-grandchildren, Aiden Ammons and Jaxon Ammons; 1 brother, Rev. Wilton (Barbara) Bennett. He is preceded in death by his parents, Cassie and Beal Bennett, his son, Tandy Bennett, his brother, Gene Bennett, and great granddaughter, Adelyn Ammons. Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation which will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home on Thursday, December 14, 2017 from 11 am – 12 pm. Services will begin at 12 pm presided by Dr. Chuck Lowman and Rev. Wilton Bennett. In lieu of flowers please make donation to the charity or the church of your choice in Bob's memory.
