It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our loved one. While it is easy to be remorseful for losing such a life spirit, the family also recognizes that they are blessed to have shared many glorious years with him. Rene' R. Loupe, 67, passed away on July 4, 2023 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph P. Loupe.
He is survived by his wife, Connie Loupe; sons, Chad Loupe (Rachel) and Brett Loupe (Emily); mother, Ruby Chauvin Loupe; brothers, Lane Loupe (Renea) and Lary Loupe; grandson, Noah Loupe; nephews, Zachary Loupe and Garrett Loupe.
He thoroughly enjoyed hunting with his friends and listening to war stories. He was devoted to caring for his entire family and just recently honored with a grandson. He wanted to be known as "Pappy".
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral service on Saturday, July 8, 2023 at 12:00 p.m. at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., Baton Rouge. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. and a graveside service will follow the funeral at Roselawn Memorial Park, 4045 North St., Baton Rouge.
